What’s included inside a Ceramic Coating?
-PAINT PROTECTION-
Ceramic coatings are a thin layer of Silicon and Titanium that form a super strong bond with the paint on your vehicle. This bond is so strong that a cearmic coating can last anywhere from 3 – 8 years. This coating acts as a slick layer surrounding your vehicle that can prevents the accumulation of dirt and improves the aerodynamics of you vehicle.
-HYDROPHOBICS-
To dive a little deeper into what exactly a ceramic coating does, we can talk about it’s hydrophobic properties. If you don’t know what that means, basically, it means that water won’t get caught in the microscopic imperfections of your paint. In doing so, it beads and runs off in largs sheets (see image ->). This works the same for dirt, because it can’t attach to the paint, it will either bounce off, or be able to be easily wiped off.
