What’s included in our Paint Correction?
Exterior Clean & Paint Decontamination
Paint correction is all about deep cleaning & scratch removal. To do this, we start with a full exterior contact wash. This involves foaming on a PH neural soap that attacks grit and grime on the surface. We then use high quality microfiber wash mitts to clean the rest of what it left on the surface of the car. We then use a clay bar combined with a chemical called Iron Remover to remove all of the iron contamination and buildup that is embedded into the paint.
Polishing
Once the paint is perfectly clean, we move on to polishing. We use a combination of our gold standard polish, and a dual action machine to remove any imperfections in the paint. We then take a rotary, combined with more of our gold standard polish, to gloss up the paint and leave it with a beautiful scratch free, glossy finish. This sets us up perfectly to do a ceramic coating if the client is interested in such.
